Don't know if this is retarded, but I'd like to here some opinions.

How do you generally distinguish between the two? I've been playing NL50 for about 2 months, and I don't really play much poker, but have been running at about 5bb/100 hands. I feel like I've been playing well, without being spectacular. I've had the odd small downswing, but never more than about 5 buyins. I've also been running fairly well April making $700 at 10bb/100 over 7k hands. Obviously this is not sustainable, but Ive been contemplating a move to NL100, but I'm not sure if my game is up to it over the long run.

I guess I'd just like some insight as to how you know if you're crushing the game or not. From my perspective, I'm a fairly solid ABC style player, but there are definitely some areas I can improve on. I'm thinking I might give NL100 a go and see what happens.

I know some of you hope I'd go busto, but unforunantely I haven't.

I got busted by Mrs.PandaSaurus on the weekend who didn't buy the explanation that "it must be some sort of bonus" (blondes aren't as dumb as the jokes make the out to be).

Even though I'd made money she was still ancy (women - wtf?!), so I said I'd cash the winnings and change the pass. Obv I didn't, and decide to play HU with my ~$150 winnings.

Played vs some random and LP's very own gawdawful. Random guy was lame. Ended up losing 77 vs QJ.

Gawdawful game was fun. Ran super well early then lost it all. I think he's mistaking my ability to run like god for playing well. Or maybe he was being nice?

Who knows?

Anyway, I'll leave the extra $30 in the Mrs' account as a present (or psudeo prositution), and thus ending the lame experiment.

Conclusion: micro stakes can be beaten with 10 buyins imo. The players are so bad that it was take a horribe, horrible run for you to go busto. If you play solid, disciplined and run mediocre, you still make money.

Forget this 20+ buyin stuff, join the degen revolution and gamble people!

Just think what would Neilly do?

Weird day. Started really badly with some horrible setups. Lost KK vs AA twice, QQ vs AA once and AKs vs AA (I run into AA quite a bit, wtf?!).

I was a bit disappointed with the QQ hand as I should have folded. His line was very obviously AA, but I wasn't good enough to fold.

Recovered pretty well though and had a good run this arvo to get into the black.

Profit: $38

11 more days and $96 til NL50 or $404 till bust.
